1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SolidWorks Career Academy website, courses, learning materials, and private student community.

By accessing our website, creating an account, or purchasing a course, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use the relevant services.

2. Business Information

The website is operated by:

Business/operator name: SW Career Academy
Licence number: TRAD/DNCC/014007/2026

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and purchasing a course.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

If you are not legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you must obtain any required permission or involvement from a parent or legal guardian before purchasing.

We may request reasonable information to verify an account or investigate suspected fraud or unauthorised access.

4. Courses and Educational Services

SolidWorks Career Academy provides online training intended to help students develop practical SolidWorks skills.

Course materials may include recorded lessons, demonstrations, exercises, project files, downloadable resources, and access to a private student community, depending on the course purchased.

The specific features included in a purchase will be described on the applicable sales or checkout page.

We may update course content to correct errors, improve learning materials, or reflect changes in software and industry practices. We will endeavour to maintain the educational value of the course.

5. Lifetime Access

Where a course is advertised as offering "lifetime access", this means access for the lifetime of the relevant course offering, subject to these Terms, continued technical availability, and applicable law.

It does not mean that we can guarantee uninterrupted access forever or that every third-party platform will remain available indefinitely.

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain access and provide reasonable notice of material changes or discontinuation where practicable and required by law.

Nothing in this section removes any remedy you may have under applicable consumer law if we fail to provide the service as promised.

6. Prices and Payments

Prices, currencies, applicable taxes, and payment terms will be shown on the relevant sales or checkout page.

Available payment methods may include:

bKash.

Nagad.

Bangladeshi bank transfer.

International card payments.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers or financial institutions. Their own terms may apply to payment processing.

For bank transfers or manual payments, you may need to provide a transaction reference or other reasonable evidence so we can verify payment.

Course access may be withheld until payment has been confirmed.

You must not make fraudulent payment claims or use a payment method without authorisation.

Any applicable taxes, currency conversion, or payment fees will be disclosed as required by law.

7. Course Access and Permitted Use

A course purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the course for your own learning, subject to these Terms.

Unless we give written permission, you must not:

Share your login credentials with other people.

Resell, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit course videos or files.

Record or reproduce lessons for redistribution.

Share paid course materials in public groups, file-sharing websites, or other unauthorised locations.

Use our website to distribute malware, commit fraud, or interfere with our systems.

Circumvent access controls or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our platform.

We may suspend access while investigating credible evidence of account sharing, piracy, fraud, or other serious breaches. Where appropriate, we will give you an opportunity to explain the circumstances.

Any restriction or termination will be subject to applicable law and any rights you have to a refund or other remedy.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the course videos, written lessons, exercises, graphics, original project files, website content, branding, and other materials created or supplied by SolidWorks Career Academy are protected by intellectual-property laws.

You may use these materials for your personal educational purposes as allowed by your purchase.

You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create unauthorised derivative versions of our materials.

You retain any rights you own in original work you create independently. However, if you upload content to our student community, you grant us permission to host, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, and support the community.

We will not claim ownership of your original work merely because you share it with us.

If you submit content for a public testimonial, promotional feature, or marketing campaign, we will seek any additional permission required for that use.

9. Student Community Rules

Access to the private student community is subject to any additional community guidelines we publish.

Members must:

Treat other members respectfully.

Avoid harassment, threats, discrimination, and abusive behaviour.

Respect other members' privacy and intellectual property.

Avoid spam, scams, and unauthorised advertising.

Not share course materials outside the permitted learning environment.

Not post confidential information belonging to employers, clients, or other individuals without permission.

We may remove content or restrict community access for serious or repeated breaches, subject to applicable law.

Community participation does not guarantee a response to every question, a job referral, a freelance project, or a particular level of support unless expressly promised in the course description.

10. No Employment or Income Guarantee

Our courses are educational services. Completing a course does not guarantee employment, a promotion, freelance contracts, client income, professional certification, or international work opportunities.

Your results depend on factors including your existing skills, practice, portfolio, communication, experience, market conditions, and employers' or clients' requirements.

Any salary, income, career, or student-success examples are illustrative unless clearly identified otherwise. They should not be treated as a promise of future results.

11. Third-Party Software and Services

SolidWorks software is separate from our training course unless a sales page expressly states otherwise.

You are responsible for obtaining lawful access to any software, hardware, internet connection, or other tools needed to follow the training.

Software features, compatibility, system requirements, licensing terms, and pricing may change. You must comply with the applicable software licence.

SolidWorks Career Academy is an independent training provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official representative of Dassault Systèmes or SOLIDWORKS unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. SOLIDWORKS and related marks belong to their respective owners.

12. Website Availability and Changes

We aim to keep our website and learning services available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Maintenance, technical failures, cybersecurity incidents, internet outages, or third-party service disruptions may temporarily affect access.

We will take reasonable steps to address significant issues. This clause does not remove rights or remedies available under applicable law.

13. Refunds and Consumer Rights

Our voluntary 30-day conditional money-back guarantee is described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

That guarantee is additional to, and does not replace or limit, any non-excludable rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.

Please read the Refund and Cancellation Policy before purchasing.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from misuse of course materials, unauthorised sharing of account credentials, third-party software issues outside our reasonable control, or decisions you make based on general educational information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including applicable consumer guarantees, statutory rights, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by the law governing the relevant transaction.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, unlawful activity, serious security risks, piracy, or material breach of these Terms.

Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before termination, unless immediate action is reasonably necessary.

We will consider applicable law and any consumer rights before restricting paid access. Termination does not automatically remove any refund or other rights you may have.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business operations, or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide notice or obtain any necessary agreement.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued to you.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are intended to operate consistently with the mandatory laws that apply to the transaction.

Governing law and jurisdiction: [Obtain legal advice and insert an appropriate clause consistent with the business's registration, operating location, and international consumer obligations.]

If you have a complaint, please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising a right to bring a claim or access a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded by a contract.
